How to Use

 

Step 1 – Pre-heat sleeping bag:

 

Activate warmers per package instructions.  Then, insert warmers into ToastyLiner pockets one hour before bedtime.  Slide ToastyLiner inside your sleeping bag after inserting warmers.  The additional heat from the warmers makes the bag feel great when crawling in .  The fleece provides additional comfort.

 

Note:  Each person’s body is a different.  The first time you use ToastyLiner, put warmers in each pocket to see which one work best for you.  After that, use the pockets that are the most effective.

 

Step 2 – Stay warm all night long:

 

The ToastyLiner pockets are designed to deliver heat to your bloodstream at points where the blood comes closest to the skin.  The positions of the warmer pockets are intended for the following:

 

  • Behind Neck – Warms blood flowing to the head
  • At Chest Above Heart – Warms blood leaving heart and flowing to upper body, arms and hands.
  • At Legs  -  Warms the blood leaving the heart flowing through the Carotid Artery that divides at the legs, comes close to the skin in the groin area and flows to the legs and feet.
  • At the Feet – Adds extra warmth to the feet and toes.

 

The additional heat helps the body maintain the warmth of the air inside the bag.
